About

Hi, I’m Robyn, and my pronouns are she/they. I provide gender-expansive, body-inclusive, trauma-informed IBCLC lactation care and support. My passion for the birthing and lactation field began over a decade ago, inspired by my own journey of birthing my daughter and breastfeeding her for 5.5 years.

In 2013 I trained as a Breastfeeding Peer Helper for The Breastfeeding Network. Since then, I have volunteered for numerous charities, gaining extensive experience supporting families through all stages of their parenting journey. I obtained a Higher Breastfeeding Peer Supporter/Counsellor certification and transitioned into paid roles in Wandsworth, Lambeth and Lewisham's breastfeeding peer support services. In these roles, I contributed to the design and implementation of enhanced breastfeeding community services and provided support in hospitals, community groups, and clients' homes.

As an accredited IBCLC Lactation Consultant, I offer clinical expertise with a competent and compassionate approach. Over the past decade, I have supported hundreds of families, promoting breastfeeding and contributing to a positive culture around infant feeding.

I am passionate about sharing what I've learned with my community, with a particular focus on supporting historically marginalised communities including black and brown families, and queer LGBTQ+ families.
