Testimonials
Amelie
"Robyn is nothing short of fantastic - she helped me in the first 4 weeks of motherhood and I can honestly say I would not be the mum I am now if not for her! Her knowledge of all things baby is vast, including breastfeeding and baby wearing, and she's able to impart in a very unobtrusive way - empowering you to make your own decisions and have a far better understanding of your baby."
Chlöe
"I always felt listened to, supported and always in control and having Robyn there through a long pregnancy and a long and little bit challenging labour was incredibly reassuring, positive and healthy!"
Estrella
"Robyn's help has been great. She's knowledgeable and professional. Her support during a critical moment of my breastfeeding journey has been very helpful. Tailored and caring approach. Thank you Robyn for your support."
About
Hi, I’m Robyn, and my pronouns are she/they. I am an independant IBCLC lactation consultant and infant feeding specialist providing gender-expansive, body-inclusive, trauma-informed lactation care and support in London and online. My passion for the birthing and lactation field began in 2013, inspired by my own journey of birthing my daughter and breastfeeding her for 5.5 years.
I am passionate about sharing what I've learned about chest/breastfeeding, lactation and birthing with my community, with a particular focus on supporting historically marginalised communities, including black and brown families and queer or LGBTQ+ families.
We might be a good fit for each other if you want:
-
Non-judgemental, empathic and continuous support
-
Gentle guidance and breastfeeding advice, offered in an unobtrusive way
-
Encouragement to be assertive and have authority in your choices
-
An engaging, friendly, and intuitive approach
-
Someone to provide a calming and stable presence throughout pregnancy, birth & postnatal journey
-
To explore thoughtful, considered questions and be supported in the decisions you make
-
Someone to respect and honour your choices and protect your birthing/babymoon space
-
A professional presence to support creating an environment that makes your birth or early journey in parenting an unforgettable and empowering experience
-
Someone to support you in gaining a better understanding of your baby
